Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Subject Leader of Science to join our school.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop leadership skills and contribute to the school's growth. You may already hold a responsibility role or be seeking your first leadership position. There is potential for an additional wider leadership role.
Beccles High School is committed to excellence. Since joining Sapientia Education Trust in September, we have focused on student learning and personal development. We are proud of our positive impact and inclusive community.
The school is friendly, supportive, and inclusive. As a small school, we foster a close-knit community where everyone supports each other. We offer various extracurricular activities, including sports, arts, community projects, and academic extensions, with plans for after-school academies in football, STEM, and performing arts.
We provide a comprehensive induction program, employee benefits like the Local Government Pension Scheme, professional development, Cycle2work, discounts, and wellbeing support. Our size offers opportunities for quick skill-building and experience sharing.
Located in a scenic market town near Norfolk and Suffolk beaches, Norwich is about 25 minutes away. Housing is affordable, and the lifestyle is relaxed.
Join us in creating a nurturing environment where students thrive. For more information or to discuss leadership roles, contact Suzi Poll at: s.poll@beccleshighschool.org.
