Key Responsibilities * Manage end-to-end airfreight operations, including exports, imports, and cross-trade shipments. * Handle quotations, invoicing, documentation, and shipment monitoring (GRN, pre/post-flights). * Execute export customs clearances using Descartes (training provided). * Collaborate within a multimodal team of 8–10 professionals. * Report directly to the Operations Manager. * Opportunity for career progression to Team Lead for the right candidate. The Ideal Candidate * Minimum 5 years’ experience in air export, import, and cross-trade operations. * Strong network and knowledge within the UK airfreight industry, including hauliers, airlines, and GSAs. * Comprehensive understanding of air export/import processes from start to finish. * Currently employed by a global freight forwarder. * Dangerous Goods (DG) certification (valid or willingness to obtain upon joining).
