General Supervisor
Location: HMP Highpoint, Stradishall, Newmarket CB8 9YG
Salary: £43,177.30 per annum
Contract: Full time, Permanent
We are seeking a dedicated General Supervisor to join our team at HMP Highpoint, a Category C men’s prison located in the village of Stradishall, Suffolk. As a General Supervisor you will work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues such as Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners and Administrators, creating a safe and secure environment. You will be part of a team that functions like a self‑contained city, driving the smooth and safe operation of the prison, impacting every prisoner, employee, visitor and the wider community.
Qualifications
* Previous recognised experience and supervisory skills in the facilities management service
* Experience of compliance
* Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements
* Relevant professional qualifications (facilities management / project management)
* Good Health & Safety knowledge
* Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
