Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help individuals with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Support individuals in participating in recreational and social activities
- Assist with medication management and administration as needed
- Provide transportation to appointments, outings, and community activities
- Document and maintain accurate records of individual progress and any incidents or observations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in a related field is a plus
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors in a calm and professional manner
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
