Main duties of the job
Working full time, you will partake in a programme specifically selected to develop your skills, competencies and confidence. Throughout this, you will be supported by very experienced managers/ ASYE assessors to apply your social work values to a carefully selected caseload.
* We will help you develop your knowledge and skills within a nurturing environment, resulting in the development of you as a confident, caring social worker with a robust value base.
* We will help you develop your knowledge base of the various legislative frameworks concerning ASC, such as the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act.
* You will be given reflective supervision on a regular basis in order tosupport your application of theory to practice.
* You will partake in training, group supervision and mentoring.
Depending on successful numbers, there may also be short term job opportunities within Northumberland ASC in non-social worker roles to bridge the gap between ending Uni and gaining your qualification/registration.
