Job Title: Product Owner Location: Royal Tunbridge Wells (Hybrid Working Available) About us: VisionTrack is a multiple award winning IOT, high throughout / big data insurance telematics & video solution. Role: As the Product Owner for our Odoo ERP platform and other IT platforms, you will own the product backlog and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and coordinating delivery with our external development partner. This role is pivotal in driving the evolution of our IT systems to support operational excellence and strategic growth. Key Responsibilities: Backlog Ownership & Prioritization; Define, refine, and prioritize backlog items based on business value and strategic objectives. Requirements & Acceptance Criteria; Act as the single point of accountability for clear, actionable requirements and acceptance criteria. Stakeholder Collaboration; Work closely with internal teams and external development partners to ensure alignment and timely delivery. Quality & Compliance; Validate delivered functionality against business needs, compliance standards, and user expectations. Roadmap Management; Maintain and communicate a transparent roadmap that balances short-term deliverables with long-term vision. System Governance & Vendor Management; Oversee assigned IT systems, ensuring proper licensing, vendor liaison, and adherence to security and compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001) Integration & Data Quality Oversight; Monitor integrations between systems (CRM, email, collaboration tools) and define standards for data hygiene and enrichment. Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in ERP or SaaS environments. Strong understanding of Agile principles, backlog management, and sprint planning. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to balance strategic roadmap thinking with hands-on delivery oversight. Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo experience highly desirable). Desirable (nice to have); Odoo functional or technical expertise, including module configuration. Experience with API integrations and ERP ecosystem connectivity. Knowledge of finance, supply chain, or CRM processes within ERP platforms. Familiarity with SQL or basic data analysis for reporting and troubleshooting. Exposure to change management and user training initiatives. Experience working with external development partners or offshore teams.
