You will advise trustees, employers, and professional advisers on a wide range of pensions matters, including scheme governance, regulatory compliance, corporate transactions, and risk management strategies. You will provide clear, practical advice on defined benefit and defined contribution schemes, support senior lawyers on projects such as corporate restructurings and bulk annuity transactions, engage directly with clients to build strong professional relationships, and contribute to thought leadership and knowledge sharing within the team. The team is looking to hire a newly qualified solicitor (or someone due to qualify shortly) with a genuine interest in pensions law, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail. You should be able to communicate complex issues in a straightforward way and bring a collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn from experienced specialists.
