Job Description
Solutions Architecture is responsible for designing and delivering the technical components within Staff Augmentation / Procurement Solutions (MSP), Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and AGS internal systems of record. The focus is to ensure that MSP & RPO solutions being deployed and operationally maintained contain the most efficient technological and business process considerations enabling the capabilities required to meet specific business needs. Further, this role will need to be able to navigate the nuances and variances between what and how to deploy a solution based on the technology and unique requirements. This process involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders, project teams and subject matter experts (SME’s) providing leadership and holistic views into cross-business and functional solutions.
Responsibilities
Architecture not only provides the business with what is needed, but also allows the business to implement effective solutions on time minimizing downstream maintenance, quality inefficiencies and long-term operational cost. Engagement goals with the Architecture team include leadership and execution coverage across the following areas:

3. Lead Delivery for Solutions
The Solutions Architect functions within the Solution Architecture team:
4. Provides technical and project leadership on complex end-to-end enterprise implementations, expansion opportunities, operational program efficiencies and AGS internal technology initiatives
5. Leads requirements gathering, solution design, testing and deployment of client invoicing solutions
6. Analyses clients’ business and technical challenges and designs comprehensive solutions that integrate smoothly into customer environments
7. Provides consultation to internal and external leadership on technology best practices and trends
8. Supports, Builds and Maintains team process documentation related to all VMS, RPO and Internal technology we support as a function
9. Recommends appropriate courses of action to technology vendors and leadership on technical issues
10. Researches and documents industry trends & technologies and advocates courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness
11. Oversees and supports project data collection, modelling and analysis
12. Responsible for execution of integration testing, analysis and validations
13. Coordinates & provides input to technology and data staging (functional and technical)
14. Manages technical documentation creation, analysis and maintenance (specifications, technology documents, error handling guides, invoice process flows, test scenarios, etc.)
15. Provides operational and technology solution governance to cross-functional teams
16. Attends project meetings providing technology considerations, notes and takeaways
17. Conducts technology research and analysis supporting project business rules
18. Defines and implements technical standards and procedures across supported programs
19. Manages, coaches and directs the work of one or more Solutions Analysts as applicable
Qualifications
20. Advanced proficiency in creating architectural designs for complex programs
21. Advanced knowledge of AGS technology platforms and partners (VMS tools, RPO tech and tools, Acumen Source and Acumen Insights, etc)
22. Excellent consulting, negotiating, communicating, consensus building, presentation and facilitation skills
23. Proven innovator with the ability to think beyond established standards and processes
24. Knowledge and experience applying current and emerging technology solutions and trends to solve for complex business problems
25. Working knowledge of various project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Critical Path)
26. Working knowledge of shared services functions and responsibilities and how those impact the overall program and architecture
27. Extensive knowledge of integration file formats and canonical structures, transmission protocols and transformation technologies
28. Basic understanding of coding languages & mathematical logic
29. Advanced understanding of pseudocode used in technical specification documents
30. Basic understanding of file transmission and encryption as well as general data security
31. Moderate understanding of database structures
32. Extensive knowledge of web application architecture and development standards
33. Exceptional leadership skills demonstrated through the project and technical leadership experience
34. Ability to understand overall company strategy and best practices and apply/implement in assigned projects/initiatives
35. Expert-level ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately to all levels and audiences
36. Thorough knowledge of process modelling techniques and protocols
37. Knowledge of the staffing industry, HR practices, and payroll and accounting processes
38. Excellent Customer relations skills
