Higher Level Teaching Assistant- Independent Pupil Referral Unit Leeds– Full time September start We are currently working with an alternative provision based in the Leeds who are looking for Higher Level 4 Teaching Assistant with experience working with children that present with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. This is a varied role and will require individuals passionate about want to make a real difference in children’s lives. Job Spec & Description: Delivering across curricular primary model content to Key stage 3- Key stage 4 learners Delivering group sessions with small groups of learners. Manage classroom resources. Take Children on educational trips and visits. Follow the school’s policy on positive regard and behaviour polices when needed. Keep children safe when they are in crisis or heightened behaviours with strong behaviour management skills and excellent communication skills. Qualified to level 4 Higher level Teaching Assistant Celebrate success. Participate in therapeutic training sessions or reflecting on difficult periods. Committed and passionate about teaching learners with differentiated needs. Valid and current DBS on the subscription service.
