Position Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Works Planner to join our team. The role will require working in our main office in East London, Barking. This is a full‑time permanent post. In this role you will be working supporting the wider repairs team function, ensuring coverage across the whole of the E&C Construction’s geographic region, and the effective use and distribution of all resources.

What you’ll be doing
The role of a Works Planner is responsible for planning and supporting the delivery of the group’s responsive repairs property care services. You must have a head for problem solving, be organised and have the ability to multitask. The ability to work under pressure and work with minimum supervision are also qualities we are looking for.
You will have to ensure that we have the correct resources allocated to each area and that the engineers/technicians work is planned in the most efficient and effective way, including allocating necessary materials.
You will be part of a team that ensures our electronic scheduling system is kept up to date, ensuring that all appointments with our customers are kept.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have previous planning experience in construction repairs and maintenance and be able to show the understanding of budgeting in relation to the delivery of a repair service.

* Barking: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience
* Maintenance in uk: 4 years (preferred)
* Reactive repairs in uk: 4 years (preferred)
