Job Description
This is a multi-skilled maintenance role with a strong electrical focus. You will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of manufacturing equipment and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain production lines, including automated assembly machines, palletisers, and specialised assembly cells
Respond to breakdowns, carry out fault finding, and perform timely repairs on PLCs, electric drives, robotics, pneumatics, and screwdrivers
Undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities on machinery and plant
Report on breakdown causes and recommend countermeasures
Support commissioning and installation projects across assembly and moulding factories
Contribute to in-house manufacturing projects
Ensure strict adherence to safe working practices and health & safety rules
Skills & Experience
Strong electrical bias with proven technical competencies
Completed a recognised multi-skilled apprenticeship
ONC (or equivalent) in an engineering-related discipline
Knowledge of Siemens PLCs and Fanuc Robotics (training will be provided where necessary)
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
