Unique School Business Manager Required
To start as soon as possible
Full time hours - all year post including training days
Salary: G9 – Point 30-35 (starting point depending on experience)
Actual salary £39,513 - £44,711
(Holiday entitlement subject to change for continuous local government service, always to be taken in close-down periods)
Experienced School Business Manager wanted to join an amazing team with one aim in common – to make our school the very best it can be – in every way… We can…we will…together!
We are looking for an energetic and organised person with skills to build systems and procedures to enhance our school as a business. Our office admin team are keen and eager to implement new changes under the new structure and need someone with the vision and personality to create and carry the administration and non-class based staff forward.

We have created a bespoke job description for this unique role which is more than a usual School Business Manager position and reflective in the salary offered. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team and share some of their workload too! We are looking for experience of managing a school admin team and in-depth knowledge of financial structures to help the Headteacher to set, review and manage the school budget and report to the Governing Body. This position also involves the line management of other non-class based staff including the admin staff, caretaker, and school cleaners. Candidates will need to be flexible, able to multi-task, and communicate supportively, politely, and effectively with children, parents, and staff even on extremely busy days!
