The Role:
The People and Payroll Administrator is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and efficient HR and Payroll Administration. This role supports the employee lifecycle and is a pivotal part of our People Operations. The role is a FTC running till end of January.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out new starter document verification and follow-up.
* Process Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks for new starters.
* Complete reference checks for new starters.
* Prepare reference letters for existing employees and respond to reference enquiries.
* Support with TUPE employee set-up and onboarding processes.
* Update and process variation requests for current employees.
* Entering employees onto our internal admin system.
* Process monthly payroll changes, including new starters and leavers.
* Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of payroll records.
* Process monthly expenses for our Group companies.
* Maintain accurate expense records and ensure compliance with policy.
* Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
* Provide administrative support to the People team as required.
Essential Requirements:
* Experience in Human Resources and/or Payroll administration.
* High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to work well with colleagues at all levels.

The position is 20 hours a week Monday- Friday (Timing's can be flexible but needs to do 4 hours per day due to operational needs)
