We are looking for a full-time marketing executive to join our small, friendly Portishead-based business. We're looking for local candidates to be in the office part of the week.
Based out of our Portishead Marina (Bristol) office, Essential is a small, privately owned company of around 18 team members. As a Value-Added Reseller, we provide quality IT solutions in the Microsoft 365 space, to help medium to large enterprises be more productive in their hybrid workplaces.
In business for over 3 decades, we partner with a select group of software companies from around the world to resell their solutions - along with our professional services and support - throughout the UK and beyond.
Our core focus is on providing great service to our customers over the long term, cross-selling our solution portfolio to our existing customer base, as well as finding new customers.
About the role

You will have the chance to take responsibility for the planning, development, and implementation of marketing activities, with the support and guidance of the team, including an experienced marketing director, and an external team.
The ideal candidate for our team is enthusiastic, organised, and willing to learn new skills. You are comfortable handling a wide range of tasks often involving many different areas of the business and a variety of skill sets.
The role will involve working with the Marketing Director, sales and product teams to improve customer engagement, increase awareness of the range of Essential offerings, and help drive forward the company’s sales and marketing strategy. Key responsibilities would include:
* Enhancing the use of Essential’s CRM to optimise lead capture and nurturing/conversion.
* Design and execution of marketing initiatives, including email marketing, social media campaigns, customer updates, organising webinars, producing collateral, etc.
* Assisting in the creation of content including videos,blog posts, sales presentations, social posts, imagery, etc.
* Assisting with repurposing of existing content into new assets for the website, social posts etc.
* Updating of WordPress website content.
* Social Media Management- Linkedin, X.
Requirements
* Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills to manage a diverse portfolio and responsibilities.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Familiar with HubSpot, WordPress, SEO techniques and other digital marketing technologies and social media platforms (specifically LinkedIn).
* Experience of using PowerPoint, DTP and design applications (e.g. Adobe Suite).
* Some graphic design and video editing skills would be preferable.
* Comfortable using the Microsoft suite of products including Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
* Proactive approach and professional attitude to work.
* Creative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing ideas.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.

Job Type: Full-time (open to 30 hours pro-rata for the right candidate)
Salary: £28-33k dependent on commercial experience.

Work Location: Portishead, office-based 2 days a week/ home based for remainder.
