GENERAL SUMMARY:
Schedule: Part Time 20 Hour - Rotating Day/Afternoon Shifts - Every other weekend.
Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist prior to receiving certification. Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems. Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the Pharmacy department. Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds. Repackage bulk medications. Receive and store incoming supplies. Triage incoming calls and serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient, and health professionals by providing information.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
* -OR- 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
* At least 1 year of pharmacy experience in retail or inpatient setting preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
* Pharmacy Technician credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
* PTCB certified or nationally certified preferred.
