Financial planning and analysis manager, real estate (pbsa)

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven FP&A Manager to a new and growing business within the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sector.

Based in London, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a key role in shaping financial strategy and supporting business performance across a dynamic and expanding real estate portfolio.

This role will report directly to the CEO & CFO, offering strong exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making during the growth of the business, which has recently secured a new funding partner for their future growth.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead the planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for the PBSA business
* Provide high-quality financial reporting and insights to institutional investors and key stakeholders
* Partner closely with Operations, investment and Development teams to deliver commercial analysis and performance optimisation
* Produce regular reporting packs, variance analysis and KPI dashboards for leadership and investment partners
* Support investment appraisals, acquisitions, and business cases for new and existing assets
* Drive continuous improvement in reporting tools, data accuracy and financial models
* Line manage and mentor an Analyst reporting into the role
