Clinical Innovation Practitioner - Research and Innovation Population Health
Initially this post will be based within our ambitious programme of work delivering population healthcare and preventative medicine at a pace and scale not previously seen.
This ambitious programme is to rollout effective lipid optimisation at a population scale. We use our population-health search tool to identify thousands of patients based on their lipid levels and cardiovascular risk, before treating them with NICE-approved therapies.
Main duties of the job
The role is varied, interesting, dynamic and often challenging, and requires a wide range of clinical skills and experience.
The post holder will be expected to support the team in administrative duties (maintaining site files, liaising with consultants to keep up with their CV and GCP renewals, supporting the research nurses/midwives/trial practitioners in raising awareness of clinical trials and innovation projects, increasing the number of patients recruited into trials/innovation projects and providing information and support for those involved in these).
In addition, they will be responsible for completion of paper and electronic case reportforms (CRFs) and to record medical research and innovation data. Training will be provided.

6. Assist in carrying out assessments and follow-up appointments according to scope of practice, including phlebotomy and clinical observations.
