A growing engineering manufacturer within the UK rail supply chain is looking for a Quality Engineer to take real ownership of quality across the business. This isn’t about maintaining paperwork it’s about implementing structure, improving performance, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership to strengthen processes, drive measurable improvements, and move the business from reactive quality management to a preventative, performance-led approach.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has implemented and improved quality systems not just audited them
* Can demonstrate clear deliverables and performance improvements
* Is confident influencing teams and driving cultural change
* Has experience in a regulated engineering environment (rail desirable, but aerospace, defence, oil & gas, automotive etc. all relevant)
* Is comfortable stepping into a business where processes need strengthening
Rail experience would be beneficial but the ability to implement and improve quality systems is more important.
