Live-In Support Worker Gosport
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Live-In Support Worker to support a female client in her late 20s within her own home in Gosport. The client has cerebral palsy and is neurodivergent, with autism-related needs.
About the role:
As a Live-In Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support to enable the client to live as independently as possible. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care (washing, showering, dressing, and toileting), moving and handling, supporting with household tasks, and enabling access to social and community activities.
A second agency will provide cover to allow you to take regular breaks and time off, ensuring a sustainable and supportive working arrangement.
About the client:
Our client is friendly, sociable, and enjoys meaningful companionship with someone who can engage in conversation and share a sense of humour. She values her independence and spends much of her day using her computer.
She has a strong passion for musicparticularly P!nkand enjoys attending live concerts. Family plays an important role in her life, and she sees them regularly. She is outgoing and enjoys getting out and about, so a confident driver is essential for this role.
When you'll be working:
* Assignments 2 weeks long
* You must commit to working regularly each month to enable continuity of care for our client
* Please note while hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract.
