Data Analyst
Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their team based in Peterborough, on a permanent basis.
Please note, the role is hybrid, with 3-4 days per week on-site.
You will be tasked to set up a reporting function using Power BI. Initially, you will gather data from various parts of the business, consolidate it, and create a central data repository. Eventually, you will develop Power BI reports and visuals. This is a brand-new environment, not an extension of an existing one.

Data Analyst – Key Skills:
* Proficient in Power BI (Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service)
* Proficient in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for calculations and metrics
* Experience with Power Query for data transformation and cleaning
* Experience and understanding of relational databases and querying (SQL)
* Experience working with large datasets and optimizing reports for performance
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure is desirable
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
