THE ROLE
This is a unique opportunity to lead a high‑profile, multi‑year transformation programme that will shape the future of the organisation. The programme brings together several strategic priorities, including organisational development, programme growth, and a property redevelopment. You will play a central role in ensuring these interconnected workstreams are aligned, well‑governed, and delivered successfully.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a complex transformation programme, ensuring alignment to strategic goals and funding milestones
* Develop and maintain an integrated programme plan across multiple workstreams
* Establish effective governance structures and reporting processes
* Manage risks, dependencies, and change across the programme lifecycle
* Provide clear and insightful reporting to senior leadership and board‑level stakeholders
* Coordinate delivery across key areas including organisational governance, programme development, and a major capital project
* Support strategic decision‑making through high‑quality analysis and stakeholder engagement
KEY WORKSTREAMS
* Organisational development: Supporting the review and enhancement of governance structures and decision‑making processes
* Programme growth: Enabling the expansion of education initiatives and the launch of new programme offerings
* Capital project: Overseeing delivery of a significant refurbishment project, ensuring alignment with future operational needs
ABOUT YOU
* Proven experience delivering complex, multi‑workstream transformation programmes
* Strong understanding of governance frameworks and working with senior stakeholders or boards
* Experience managing risk, performance, and programme reporting
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
* Comfortable working across different functions and building strong relationships
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
* Experience within a charity, public sector, or regulated environment
* Exposure to governance reviews or structural change
* Experience working on capital or property‑related projects
* Familiarity with grant‑funded programmes and milestone reporting
