Role Overview The Consultant role within TAA Professional Services is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in consulting. An accounting or audit background is desirable but not essential, provided you are comfortable working with financial data, practice processes, and delivering customer‑facing solutions. In this role, you will support senior consultants on customer projects while developing expertise in CCH Central, with a particular focus on CCH Accounts Production and CCH Audit Automation. Key Responsibilities • Provide training and consultancy on CCH Central, specifically focusing on CCH Accounts Production and CCH Audit Automation. • Assist customers and support with troubleshooting. • Assist in developing and maintaining business process models, operational frameworks, and documentation. • Prepare customer reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings effectively. • Participate in customer workshops, meetings, and discussions to gather insights and support project execution. • Assist in project coordination, tracking milestones, and ensuring timely delivery of outputs. • Support the design, development, and testing of prototypes and solutions. • Contribute to the preparation and delivery of training materials and knowledge‑sharing resources. Required Skills & Competencies • An understanding of financial statements, accounts preparation, and compliance. • Familiarity with audit workflows, methodologies, and regulatory expectations. • Experience working in an accountancy practice or audit environment (desirable). • Exposure to CCH Central, CCH Accounts Production, or CCH Audit Automation (desirable). • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to generate actionable insights. • Strong written and verbal communication for customer and internal interactions. • Ability to coordinate project activities and manage multiple tasks. • Proficiency in creating clear documentation, reports, and presentations. • Intermediate proficiency with relevant software tools for analysis and reporting. • Effective collaboration within cross‑functional teams. • Confident and professional in customer‑facing situations.
