ROLE: Handyperson/Joiner
HOURS: 38.5 hours. 4 on, 4 off. (4 days on = 2 days, 2 nights).
LOCATION: Royal Victoria/Freeman Hospital, Newcastle

We're looking for a Handyperson/Joiner who will be expected to demonstrate a broad skill set that enables them to respond effectively to day-to-day maintenance needs. They will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Responding to maintenance requests.
2. Performing routine plant checks.
3. Assisting with general cleaning duties.
4. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and plant history.
5. Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications: applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
6. Relevant certification or qualification within a joinery/plumbing/electrical field.
7. Experience with working within a maintenance position or equivalent.
8. Passionate and driven individual who is motivated to learn and advance on their skills.
