We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a primary-aged pupil with Autism, helping them thrive both academically and socially in a nurturing school environment.Responsibilities:
* Provide consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD
* Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs
* Support communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction
* Implement strategies from EHCP targets
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
* Encourage independence and confidence
What Were Looking For:
* Experience supporting children with ASD in a school setting
* Strong understanding of SEN strategies and behaviour support
* Calm, patient, and proactive approach
* Ability to build positive, trusting relationships
* Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 TA or equivalent) desirable
