The Royal Surrey County NHS Foundation Trust and are seeking to recruit a Bank Digital Service Trainer Band 5
To support the provision of digital training services, the Training team are looking for a bank Trainer to join the team.
What are we looking for?
You will have had experience of using Cerner Millennium/Surrey Safe Care EPR, ideally with experience of delivering training, or peer support, to staff.
You are able to engage effectively with staff across all levels and can demonstrate knowledge and skills with EPR.
You will have excellent communication, presentation and IT skills with confidence and knowledge of a wide range of software packages.
A standard DBS check will be required for the role. Some evening and weekend may be required to meet deadlines on occasion, so flexibility with regard to working hours is essential.
Main duties of the job
The bank Digital Services Trainer will help to support delivery of the Digital Services Training service across the Trust, including satellite sites across the local health community.
Daily tasks include delivering Cerner Millennium training courses, supporting end user queries, maintaining and developing course lesson plans, elearning and materials and capturing attendance records.

Deliver a programme of training in line with the Digital Services Training teams annual plans and standard operating procedures for in the planning and delivery of a Digital Services training programme which supports the Digital Services strategic objectives outlined in the Trusts annual development plan.Maintain a good understanding of the strategic direction for Digital Services within the TrustFunction as a subject matter expert across a variety of topics ( Electronic Patient Record (EPR), Digital Services managed systems, Core IT Skills, Microsoft Office, Information Governance, Data Protection and broader learning & development methodologies / techniques). Evaluate and assess new versions of software used in the Trust in order to provide appropriate training to with the design and collation of any training needs analysis in the evaluation process to continually assess the effectiveness of training and inform future training programmes.Deliver Digital Services managed systems induction training to all authorised new employees.Deliver training to support the ongoing development of IT skills within the in the training planning and delivery of system implementations. Assist in performing post implementation training support, including floor-walking.Deliver end user training of the Trusts Digital Services managed systems, such as EPR, to all levels of staff across the organisation in line with the standard operating procedure for systems training.Deliver end user training to all staff identified as part of Digital Services system implementations and upgrades, providing floorwalking support at Go with Trust data quality facilitators in order to identify problem areas and identify potential solutions to problems. Assist in the exploitation of technology throughout the Trust and facilitate the realisation of benefits identified from the introduction of new technology.Actively promote electronic working at all levels within the Trust to support the Trusts organisational development and service modernisation plans.Produce and update user documentation including guidance on information governance and data protection in the creation and development of elearning content as directed by the Lead users are made aware of relevant Trust approved policies when receiving any that scheduled work is completed on time and complies with the agreed quality standards.Provide support, advice and guidance to Users from calls raised via the Digital Services IT Service Desk and IT Portal.Maintain user accounts including the setup of new users for applications as identified.Regularly review and update end user guidance documentation as appropriate including the Digital Services Training team Standard Operating Procedures Promote new ways of working to all levels of staff throughout the out administration tasks as required by the team, including maintaining attendance records, booking confirmation, awarding in the management of the Digital Services training facilities and equipment in order to ensure maximum use of Digital Services teams where appropriate on new implementations and technologies in order to maintain a high-level quality of service.Contribute to management reports and undertake service level targeting and reporting as and when required. Work as part of the Digital Services team and the Trust to support the development of the service, such that it continues to support the business needs of the organisation.Undertake the lead in training related projects and tasks as determined by the Digital Services Training Manager in conjunction, where necessary, with the Digital Services Programme Office.Identify, recommend and implement changes to the training service to improve capacity and performance and address potential risks as agreed with internal teams and customer.Invigilate and process externally certified examinations hosted on site.Maintain records in accordance with standards required for test centre accreditation with examining bodies for externally certified examinations hosted on site.

Essential
1. Degree level education or equivalent specialist knowledge acquired through relevant experience
2. Training related qualifications; for example TAP, City and Guilds 7307/7407 or equivalent
3. Experience in delivering digital systems training

4. Additional IT related qualifications
5. Cerner accredited trainer
6. Experience in delivering training for EPR systems
7. Experience in delivering Cerner systems training as business as usual and for implementations
