About the Client Our Client is a German-founded steel products supplier and specialist manufacturer with a strong European reputation. Recognised as one of the largest stockholders of sheet piling and structural steel solutions. Supplies critical materials for major UK infrastructure and civil engineering projects. Supports sectors including deep foundations, groundworks, shoring and trenching, marine and harbour works, flood defence, retaining walls, and transport schemes. Offers extensive European stock availability, engineering and fabrication support, rental and buy-back options, and rapid logistics. Known for precision manufacturing quality and strong technical expertise. Roles/Responsibilities Win new business and open new contractor and engineering accounts across the Southern territory. Promote sheet piles, trench sheets, structural steel sections, and engineered steel solutions. Conduct site visits and technical discussions with contractors, engineers, and procurement teams. Develop long-term contractor and project relationships. Identify upcoming projects and influence early-stage specifications. Manage your own sales pipeline and execute a strategic territory growth plan. Establish yourself as the regional specialist for piling and shoring solutions. Report directly to the Managing Director while operating with significant autonomy. Qualifications Proven B2B sales experience within one or more of the following sectors: Sheet piling Groundworks Shoring / trenching Structural or heavy steel Civil engineering materials Foundation or infrastructure supply Strong new business development and door-opening capability. Comfortable in a primarily field-based role with regional travel. Commercially astute with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. Confident engaging with site managers, engineers, and buyers. Well-networked within the construction or civil engineering sector. Self-sufficient, proactive, and capable of building a territory without close supervision. Benefits Opportunity to join a major European market leader.
