The Role
As Plant Manager, you will take full responsibility for site operations and set the standard day to day.
* Take ownership of operations, driving output, reducing waste and delivering production targets
* Lead and develop the site team, building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
* Manage production planning and forecasting to ensure orders are delivered on time
* Drive health and safety standards across a labour-intensive environment
* Work closely with engineering to maximise uptime and manage maintenance activity
* Maintain high standards of food safety and quality compliance
The Person
This Plant Manager role needs someone who can step in, take control and lead from the front.
* Proven experience as a Plant Manager or senior operations leader within FMCG
* Background in food manufacturing
* Strong production planning and forecasting capability
* Experience managing shift-based teams and associated people processes
* Able to operate independently and make sound commercial decisions
* Strong commitment to health and safety in a hands‑on environment
* Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement
* Comfortable working in a sustainability-focused business
