Holt Engineering is recruiting for a PCB Inspector to join a growing and well-established manufacturing business in Fareham.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role within the quality team, working across goods-in, in-process, and final inspection of electrical and electronic assemblies.
The PCB Inspector role is paying £13.50 – £14.50 per hour (DOE) and working hours are Mon–Thurs 7:30–16:30 | Fri 7:30–12:30
What the PCB Inspector role will include:
Inspect electrical & electronic assemblies and PCBs to drawings and standards
Carry out goods-in, stage, and final inspections
Manage calibrated tools – issuing and control
Support First Article Inspection (FAIR) processes
Assist in resolving quality-related issues and root cause investigations
Work closely with the Quality Controller to improve and maintain standards
Provide ongoing QA support across the business
Proactively flag any risks to quality or deliveryExperience required for the PCB Inspector:
Previous experience in electronics / PCB inspection (essential)
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
IPC knowledge/training (advantageous, not essential)
A structured, methodical approach to problem-solving
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
