About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, along with some IT skills. Communicating with residents and colleagues with consideration and kindness is essential.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring residents live in a well-maintained environment, conducting audits, and keeping records updated. Tasks may involve replacing taps or mixer valves, fitting extractor fans, repairing timber on windows, or decorating spaces, always approached with kindness.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training, seeking advice and reporting concerns as needed.
