Vickerstock are working in partnership with a specialist manufacturing firm on the appointment of an SHEQ Manager. As the SHEQ Manager, you will be responsible for managing and reviewing the SHEQ systems as well as maintaining and improving the overall SHEQ performance for the company. In your new role: Conduct site audits and inspections in line with legal requirementsMaintain records of statutory inspections for all activities and equipmentSubmit statutory notifications to HSENI and coordinate inspector visitsEnsure compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001Investigate accidents, submit statutory notifications, and update senior managementAssist in budgeting for Health & Safety-related costs, including training and equipmentManage site-specific RAMS and review subcontractors' documentationMaintain and communicate site emergency plansDevelop quality inspection and test plans and support quality inspectionsPromote a strong safety culture and ensure HSEQ compliance across the siteWork with HR to deliver Health & Safety inductions for employees and contractorsOrganise H&S training sessions and lead Toolbox Talks What you will need to succeed: Experience within a similar Health & Safety roleRelevant Health and Safety qualifications (NEBOSH)Experience with ISO standards and auditingGood communication and influencing skillsIT and numeracy skills (MS Office)Full driving license Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't): Experience within the Manufacturing or Construction industriesIOSH MembershipNEBOSH DiplomaTrain the Trainer certifications This opportunity may be of particular interest to those living in Counties Fermanagh, Tyrone, Monaghan, Cavan and Donegal.
