Overview
A temporary Compliance Manager role for 3‑6 months, leading statutory compliance and health & safety across a large housing portfolio. Requires a minimum of 3 days a week in the Selkirk office and visits to tenants' homes on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing compliance inspections and associated works
* Leading and developing a compliance team
* Overseeing contractor performance, procurement and budgets
* Monitoring risk, compliance data and KPI reporting
* Supporting health & safety, CDM and audit functions
* Driving service improvement and customer satisfaction
* Comprehensive knowledge of housing construction methods, repairs and best practice
Qualifications
* Experience of working with risk management systems
* Experience of developing technical specifications
* Understanding of the role of the Scottish Housing Regulator
* A relevant technical qualification (or equivalent experience) and a full UK driving licence are required
