The Opportunity A thriving primary school near Grimsby is seeking amitted and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team from January 2026 until the end of the summer term. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire pupils at a crucial stage in their education, helping them build confidence and achieve their potential in preparation for upper Key Stage 2.
You will take on full teaching responsibilities, including:
1. Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to Year 5 pupils
2. Preparing resources and adapting teaching to meet diverse learning needs
3. Marking and assessing work to ensure progress is tracked effectively
4. Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment
5. Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and support whole-school initiatives
The role includes dedicated PPA time, ensuring you have the space to plan and prepare high-quality lessons while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

We are looking for a teacher who is:
6. A qualified teacher with QTS
7. Experienced in teaching within Key Stage 2
