Depot Admin Assistant – Eastleigh (Full-Time, Permanent)

This is a hands-on admin role that sits right at the heart of a busy, fast-paced depot operation. You'll be the go-to support for everything from job sheet creation and hire quotes to customer calls and purchase orders. It’s varied, it’s people-facing, and it keeps the depot running smoothly day in, day out.
What you’ll be doing:
* Creating delivery and off-hire notes for equipment
* Building and sending out quotations for new and existing clients
* Handling incoming calls and customer queries
* Preparing job sheets for engineers
* Raising purchase orders and helping manage hire systems (InspHire, Goldmine)
* Chasing outstanding quotes and keeping databases updated
* Supporting both yard and office teams with day-to-day admin
* Taking on extra depot coordination tasks when managers are away
* Keeping your workspace tidy and following all health & safety protocols
What we’re looking for:
* Strong admin and organisational skills
* Confident communicator, both with customers and colleagues
* Good with numbers and attention to detail
* Comfortable with Microsoft Office and ideally systems like InspHire or Goldmine
* Flexible, proactive, and reliable
* Someone who enjoys being part of a team that actually gets stuff done
