Full-Time Nursery Teaching Assistant – Preston Primary School Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:30pm Location: Preston Start Date: September 2025 We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant to join the nursery provision of a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for early years education to make a lasting impact within a nurturing and well-resourced setting. About the Role: Supporting children aged 3–4 within a busy nursery class. Assisting with the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Supporting children’s learning and development through play-based activities. Working closely with the class teacher and other support staff to create a safe, stimulating environment. Helping to monitor progress and maintain accurate learning records. Requirements: Experience working in a Nursery or Early Years setting is essential. A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or equivalent) is desirable. Strong understanding of EYFS curriculum and early childhood development. Positive, nurturing approach with excellent communication skills. Ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents.
