Were looking for a warm, creative, and enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to join our care home team. This is a rewarding role where youll play a big part in making each day enjoyable, meaningful, and fulfilling for our residents.
What Youll Be Doing
1. Creating a varied calendar of activities that reflects our residents interests from arts and crafts to quizzes, gardening, music, gentle exercise, and special events.
2. Supporting residents on minibus trips which can involve personal care.
3. Supporting residents one-to-one as well as in group settings, making sure everyone feels included and valued.
4. Building strong relationships with residents, their families, and friends to really understand what brings them joy.
5. Bringing the local community into the home by arranging visits, outings, and special guests.
6. Working closely with the care team so activities are a natural part of daily life.
