Overview
Willow Gardens is an Extra Care service offering Care and Support to older people living in their own homes in a supportive environment. We are a supportive and friendly team and we offer opportunities to develop with the team.
Responsibilities
* Provide practical support and guidance to our front‑line care and support team through on‑the‑job observational supervision.
* Complete forms and personalised care plans.
* Support our people with activities: arranging and supervising.
* Provide management cover in the absence of the Extra Care Manager/Assistant Manager or Support Team Manager where required.
* Undertake duty management tasks as defined on a rota basis.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 in Care or equivalent.
* Level 2 in Literacy skills or equivalent.
* Minimum of 2 years working with vulnerable adults, adults with disabilities or adults with dementia.
* Knowledge of the Care Standards and the CQC inspection framework.
* Good awareness of Extra Care Services, both social care and the housing management aspects.
