Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 16:00 (overtime available)
Job Description:
Quest Employment are recruiting for an experienced Carpenter (Bench Joiner) on behalf of our client in Northampton (NN5). This is a full-time role within a bespoke carpentry and joinery business, offering the chance to work on diverse and exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Construct and assemble custom-made furniture, cabinetry, and wooden structures
* Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to plan and complete projects
* Measure, cut, shape, and join materials using hand and power tools
* Install fixtures, fittings, and hardware as required
* Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment, following health & safety procedures
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Carpenter, specialising in bench joinery
2. Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
4. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
5. Good physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for long periods
