Role: Buyer
Location: Saffron Walden, moving to Braintree Sept 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00AM TO 16:30PM, 40 hours a week
Salary: £16.35 an hour, weekly pay
Must be a driver, due to location change

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Buyer to join a fast growing client based in Saffron Walden.
Duties of a Buyer:
1. Generate and submit general inventory and material POs (using supply chain websites & e-mail address)
2. Expedite POs to meet agreed due dates and update system accordingly.
3. Liaise with Production Manager and team leaders to establish product deliverables against project timelines.
4. Generate quotations through the system
5. Manage the following; Stock, Demand, Inspect, Scheduling, Spares, Pricing
What we would like from you:
6. Previous experience in a purchasing or buyer role (aviation/MRO sector a bonus)
7. Familiarity with procurement systems (e.g., Aerotrac or similar ERP)
8. Strong understanding of inventory, demand planning, and supplier management
9. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
10. Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
11. High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
12. Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
