Heaton House Farm – Stable Yard Catering4 days per week | 8:00am–6:30pm, 10am - 8:30pm or 11:30am - 10pm| Occasional eveningsPermanent | Full-time Heaton House Farm is a family-run events business, home to Heaton House Events and our onsite catering company Stable Yard Catering. We are renowned for delivering exceptional weddings alongside charity events, corporate meetings and flagship company events, all supported by a professional and friendly team.We are now seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade and play an important role within our banqueting operation.What you’ll be doing
* Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
* Preparing and delivering high-quality food for large-scale banqueting events
* Taking responsibility for your designated section, ensuring consistency and quality
* Assisting with food preparation, organisation and service delivery
* Supporting junior and agency chefs when required
* Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and cleaning standards at all times
About you
* Proven experience working across key kitchen sections
* Previous experience in banqueting or high-volume service environments
* A reliable and well-organised chef with strong attention to detail
* Passionate about food and keen to develop skills within an events-led kitchen
* Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
Working pattern
* Predominantly 4 days per week
* Usually daytime hours: 8:00am–6:30pm
* Some evening shifts depending on event requirements
* Weekends and bank holidays required as part of an events business
