Telent's Network Services division is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our successful Engineering team based in Southampton. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a talented team of Cloud, Network, and Security specialists, supporting your growth through challenging projects.
The Cloud Engineer will develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction by providing proactive service and acting as a bridge between engineering and service teams.

Cloud Engineer - Responsibilities:
* Train internal staff and customers on products and solutions.
* Assist with Professional Services and Sales opportunities.
* Monitor customer incidents and report on nominated accounts.
* Highlight trends, security threats, and technical bulletins impacting customers.
* Manage documentation related to customer platforms and services.
* Follow internal and external processes for tasks, reporting, and changes.
* Support PoC scenarios, Type Approval activities, and lab testing.
* Create and review technical documentation and statements of work.
* Assist in pre-staging equipment for customer sites.
* Participate in customer meetings and reviews.
* Ensure accurate time sheet submissions and compliance with policies.
* Maintain certifications aligned with role and objectives.
* Complete overtime and expenses accurately and promptly.
* Adhere to GDPR and security policies regarding sensitive data.
Who you are:
The ideal Cloud Engineer will have an interest in Cloud technologies, including some Azure knowledge, Linux, MS SCCM, and MS Exchange. We will support your development in these areas. You should have a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and experience in a support environment, with on-premise Cloud Services experience being advantageous.
* VCP 6.x-DCV (Desirable)
* MCSA: Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or above
* Networking Concepts knowledge
* Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or above
* Azure MFA and Identity Services
* Microsoft System Configuration Manager
* Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 or above
* VMware vCloud Director knowledge
* Leadership qualities and excellent communication skills
* Problem-solving passion and ability to work independently or in a team
