Job Title: Financial Operations Assistant
Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Financial Operations Assistant. This is a key role within our organization, responsible for the day-to-day financial operations and ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
About You: To be successful in this role, you will have a comprehensive understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and experience in managing bank reconciliations, sales ledgers, purchase ledgers, and general ledgers. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and reconcile financial transactions, including bank statements, credit card statements, and invoices
* Manage the cashbook and balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
* Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or queries
* Maintain accurate records and reports, using MS Excel and other accounting software
