In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our dementia, nursing, residential, and specialist care homes. Every person working here understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories. By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to those people.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment, demonstrating your attention to detail. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning, you’ll do so with kindness and professionalism.
We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we will provide comprehensive training. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills, along with a positive attitude and the ability to get along well with others. Effective communication skills, including active listening and giving clear instructions, are essential. You will communicate with residents and colleagues in a considerate and kind manner.

All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also be capable of seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation if necessary.
We provide full training, offering a great opportunity to learn new skills. In return, you will enjoy a variety of benefits and support for your physical and psychological well-being, including:
