Job Title: Subject College Lecturer Location: Oldham, Lancashire
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans and lectures across a range of courses within your subject specialty.
* Assess, monitor, and record the progress of students, providing timely feedback to encourage academic development.
* Adapt teaching materials and methods to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
* Maintain an up-to-date understanding of your subject curricula and educational practices.
* Collaborate with other teaching staff and faculty to enhance instructional methods and contribute to curriculum development.
* Provide support and mentorship to students, offering additional assistance outside regular teaching hours when necessary.
* Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and college events.
* Contribute to the upkeep of a safe and inclusive learning environment in compliance with college policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
* A teaching qualification relevant to further education (FE).
* Demonstrated teaching experience within FE, ideally within a sixth form college setting.
* Expertise in any subject area that aligns with our college's academic offerings.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to fostering a positive educational experience and promoting student success.
* The ability to use various teaching methods and technological tools to enhance the learning experience.
