Job Description
Manage all accounts within assigned territory
Train physicians on devices
Attend operations to support device usage
Manage consignment stock
Work with the greater team to leverage business
Develop KOL partners
Support local clinical studies
Hold local educational days for theatre teams
Manage local tenders
% travel within territory including overnight stays occasionally
Ability to control your own diary
Who are we looking for?
The associate territory manager will be a confident, capable individual who prefers to work autonomously. They shall be given full training on anatomy as well as product training for Acandis and products and its competitors. They shall be provided with a clear plan of training and sign off. For the first six months the individual shall shadow their new colleagues and spend time in their accounts, building relationships and familiarising themselves with the processes of each Trust. There will be a plan to promotion based on milestones and plenty of room for lateral or vertical movement within the company.
There is no blueprint for the ideal candidate however; experience either in medical devices sales or within the NHS would be beneficial, although not necessary. We are seeking a driven individual with a desire to succeed and excellent interpersonal skills. The individual will expected to drive sales in their territory.
This role may particularly appeal to neurovascular nurses/radiographers or individuals within medical devices sales looking to move into a more exciting field.
Necessary Skills
Bachelor's Degree in a science related field or
3+ years' experience in medical devices sales
Excellent Interpersonal skills
Ability to work autonomously
Experience in a high level customer facing role
Knowledge of anatomy/physiology
Full clean drivers licence
Experience selling highly complex products
Desirable Skills
Advanced degree
Experience with/in the NHS
Previous experience in neurovascular field
