PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £60,000 - £75,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As a Human Resources Business Partner, you'll play a key role supporting the BBC's mission through meaningful, high-impact work. You'll partner with senior leaders to tackle real-time challenges and shape long-term strategic change. From driving organisational transformation to enabling high-performing teams, your work will be varied and rewarding. We're looking for someone with strong relationship skills, strategic insight, and hands-on HR expertise to help shape the BBC's future.
WHY JOIN THE TEAM
We are recruiting for a fixed term contract HR Business Partner to support two critical areas in our Corporate Functions area; our Legal and Commercial Rights and Business Affairs teams.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
* Change Driver: Hands-on experience leading or supporting big change or transformation projects.
* HR Know-How: Strong background as an HR Business Partner, with deep knowledge of organisational design, talent management, and employee engagement strategies.
* Strategic Communication: Skilled in building trusted relationships, influencing senior leaders, and navigating complex stakeholder dynamics to support sound decision-making
* Thriving in ambiguity: Comfortable operating in uncertain environments, demonstrating sound judgment and agility when making decisions without clear-cut answers.
* Organisational Awareness: Able to connect the dots across the business, applying a broad understanding of organisational priorities to shape impactful HR solutions
* Trust Builder: Quickly earns the confidence of teams and individuals, fostering strong partnerships and credibility across the organisation.
* Prioritisation and Delivery: Capable of managing multiple projects and competing priorities effectively, ensuring high-quality outcomes without compromising timelines.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Proven Experience as a HRBP, Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with senior stakeholders
* Demonstrated ability to lead and support organisational change
* Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practices Experience in a Product environment
* Extensive experience of operating in a business partner model, working with local managers to create positive business outcomes.
* Data-driven approach to HR decision-making.
DESIRED:
* CIPD qualification or equivalent
* Coaching or facilitation skills
