About Bombardier’s Business Aircraft London Service Centre
Located in Biggin Hill, Bombardier’s Business Aircraft London Service Centre is part of an award-winning network and serves as the flagship of Bombardier’s European operation. This Base and Line Maintenance Centre is the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK. The facility offers maintenance checks, modifications, and upgrades, supporting operators in the UK and beyond. Situated only 14 miles from London, it provides excellent accessibility.
In your role, you will:
* Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
* Perform and document all work according to manuals and regulations.
* Conduct complete engine runs as required.
* Perform complex repairs on aircraft systems.
* Supervise Mechanics during maintenance tasks, ensuring standards are met.
* Assist with providing time estimates, monitor efficiency, and coordinate overtime with Project Managers.
* Ensure all tasks comply with Bombardier’s Maintenance Organization Procedures.
* Sign off on base maintenance tasks you perform.
* Release aircraft and sign the Certificate of Release to Service after maintenance.
Our ideal candidate:
* Holds a UK CAA & EASA Part 66 Aircraft Technician License: B1, B2, and/or C.
* Is type-rated on relevant Bombardier Business Aircraft Types.
* Has up-to-date knowledge of Appendix I to Part-66, Part-M, Part-145, and relevant regulations.
* Has at least 6 months of relevant aircraft or component maintenance experience within the last two years.
* Understands human factors, performance, and limitations.
* Can interpret and work with engineering drawings.
* Communicates effectively in writing and verbally regarding tasks and aircraft status.
* Proficient in using standard tools, special tools, and ground support equipment.
* Works according to maintenance data and reports defects for rectification.
* Skilled in using information systems (computer skills).
