🛠 CNC Setter Operator – What You’ll Be Doing
This isn’t just button-pushing. You’ll be trusted to set and operate CNC lathes from start to finish, working with:
* 2 & 3 axis Fanuc-controlled lathes
* Twin spindle/twin turret setups
* Doosan, Biglia, and sliding head machines
* Exotic materials and tight tolerances
* Full machine setups, program edits, and first-off checks
* Close collaboration with inspection using micrometers, gauges, and calipers
Engineers and programmers will surround you—but as a CNC Setter Operator, you’ll be trusted to get on with it, spot issues early, and deliver quality without compromise.
👤 What Makes a Great CNC Setter Operator
You’re someone who:
* Knows your feeds and speeds
* Understands turning strategy and tight tolerances
* Can read drawings and use precision measuring tools
* Has experience with Fanuc controls, sliding heads, Doosan, or Biglia
* Takes pride in a clean first-off and a job well done

💰 Pay & Benefits
* Salary up to £52,000 incl night shift allowance
* Monday to Thursday 6pm - 6am (Finishing Friday Morning at 6am)
* Night Shift Allowance of £4.75
* Overtime available at time and a half and double time.
