Year 6 Teaching Assistant – After Easter Start (CF5)
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the CF5 area of Cardiff, starting after the Easter holidays.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting pupils in Key Stage 2, particularly during the important final term of Year 6.
The Role:
Supporting the Year 6 class teacher with daily classroom activities
Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to support learning
Assisting pupils with literacy, numeracy, and SATs preparation
Helping to maintain a positive, engaging learning environment
Supporting pupils with varying learning needs where required
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a school is essential
Experience supporting KS2 or Year 6 pupils is highly desirable
A proactive, patient, and enthusiastic approach
Strong communication and classroom support skills
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
