This post is based at Maryhill Health Centre, 51 Gairbraid Avenue, Glasgow G20 8FB.
Working hours will be 05:00–09:00 Monday to Friday. Salary is pro‑rata for part‑time hours.
Our community locations include 3 ambulance stations, a decontamination unit, 12 health centres and 8 resource centres, with approximately 360 staff.
This role will undertake the supervision of staff cleaning patient areas, clinical and non‑clinical departments, offices and administration areas to comply with NHS national standards of cleanliness, mop laundering and porter/messenger services. Responsibilities include allocating staff resources, auditing services, inputting payroll information, planning and carrying out staff training, and liaising with service users and department leads. As a working supervisor, carrying out cleaning tasks is part of the role. You will have contact with patients and service users, so good communication skills are essential.
