Residential Support Worker
£26,000 to £29,000 + sleep ins
Wallasey, Wirral
Full time, 40 hours per week
I am working with a growing provider who are expanding into residential children’s care. They already have a strong background supporting young people and have built experienced teams, meaning you will be joining a well supported, well structured environment from day one.

You will be supporting children and young people with complex needs, helping to create a safe, nurturing and structured environment where they can thrive.
The role
* Supporting the day to day running of the home alongside the Registered Manager and Deputy
* Providing high quality care in line with safeguarding and Ofsted standards
* Building strong, therapeutic relationships with young people
* Acting as a key worker and contributing to care plans and development plans
* Supporting with daily records, reports and general administration
* Promoting a positive, homely environment
* Working as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for young people
What they are looking for
* Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent
* Experience working in a children’s residential setting
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and trauma informed care
* A positive, proactive and team focused mindset
* Someone who genuinely wants to make a difference
